Something wonderful happened to me about three years ago...... I got my first DLSR camera. I started seeing the world around me in a different way. I quickly picked up on the few little things that I could easily learn on my camera. I realized the world around me needed to be celebrated & captured through the lens. My heart melts when I can capture a perfect shot of a newborn or a beautiful bride on her special day.
I am ever so thankful for my family, as well as all the tremendous support from them & friends. I can't wait to share my passion with you and to create personalized beautiful art from your own family's little moments.
I shoot digital. I shoot film. Yes, FILM. I love film for it’s range and consistent color. I feel more like I am creating a photo rather than taking one. I love the sound my film camera makes, YES the sound. I just love film! I started out as a digital photographer and then went {still in high school} to high school, took a photography class, freshman year, and realized that I love film! It is so fun and an amazing process.
I LOVE bright fun colors, although I have a soft spot for pastels and b&w grain. I’ll choose moment over technical almost all the time. I love kids being kids and brand new babies being all cuddled and loved and families being goofy and silly. I over use emoticons and exclamation marks WAY too much and I laugh at everything, even when I am nervous. I live in flip-flops but any sign of rain and I’ll trade them for my rainboots.
